INTRODUCTION Development of Library Management System for Horizon Campus.
AIM OF PROJECT The aim of this project is to build a Library Management System by deg, developing and evaluating effectively and efficiently with the use of the modern technologies to make the tasks of the library activities reliable and efficient.
OBJECTIVES • Develop a more reliable and efficient automated system than a paper based manual system • To have a very friendly interface. • Reduce the work load of the library staffs. • Search for the availability of the book without effort. • Reduce the errors. • Create a database to store large amount of data (Books, etc.) • Faster processes of book borrow, return and access information. • Keep up to date information. • To make the maintenance of the library easier. • Able to generate report on books borrowed, member details, books not returned easily and efficiently. • Able to extent the software according to future needs with new functionalities.
